Mason used to love to give himself little hair pulls...as a comfort mechanism. Well, for some reason he's decided to move on to twirling his hair...and sometimes this is what happens:

Goin' Green
As most of you know (or may recall from last year) we LOVE to celebrate St. Patty's Day at our house. When I was growing up my entire extended family had huge St. Patrick's Day celebrations. Everyone would come together and celebrate our heritage. All of our food was green...and I mean all of it - including the mashed potatoes! So to somewhat carry on the tradition we celebrate too - we decorate the house with shamrocks, leprechauns, green lights, etc. We always wear green, eat green food and have a dance party...well, in this case an Irish jig. This year was no exception. We had a blast!
And don't worry, even if you're not Irish you can be "Irish for a day"...no one will be the wiser :)

Sometimes it's just that simple...
Two $.15 Mardi Gras beaded necklaces + two brand new FREE phonebooks from a kiosk in the mall = two of the most entertained, happiest, "reading the phonebook with my necklace on" little people you've ever seen.

He loves the ladies
This last weekend while Micah and I had a movie date, the boys were at their grandma's having their own movie date. They watched 'Racing Stripes' (about a zebra that enters a horse race). I think it's the second time Spencer has seen it. When we were putting Spencer to bed that night he informed us he now has yet another crush. It went a little something like this:
"Mommy, now I have four crushes. Gloria, Gloria the hippo, Sally and Sandy. And I think I need a little Sandy horse...one that talks."
Gloria from Happy Feet
Gloria from Madagascar
Sally from CARS
Sandy from Racing Stripes
What....four crushes already?! When he talks about one of these "crushes" he gets all giddy and bashful...that's right, you heard me. But I must admit, it is pretty cute and he does have pretty good taste. Thank goodness they are all fictional characters - at least for now - because if this is any indication about our future I think we are going to have our hands full!

Here's some photos of lil' Spencer showing off his different "looks". Where does the time go? He's getting so big!
